So I'm on the way to take Matt to school this morning, right?
We're having a pretty good conversation, I'm doing my due-
diligence by going the speed limit, stopping at red lights,
yielding to VIG'S (very important guppies) in the crosswalk,
etc etc. I notice two chippers on bikes pulling up in the lane
next to me at a stop light. No worries-light turns green, I
begin to move forward, when out of the blue, BOTH cops pull
their bikes behind me and the lights glow! "Are we going to
Jail?", Matt asks!!! "NO WE'RE NOT GOING TO JAIL,MATT!!"
"Morning Officer, what's going on?"
Get this guys-my tag was swiped! The sticker read "2004"!
Second time in my life I've had tags stolen. I asked one
of 'em how much it costs to replace it. He says, "about 8 bucks
a few years back. Course now it's probably six hundred!"
We then all get a kick out of making fun of Sacramento BUT that's
a story for another day! Make sure not to layer your tags-always
clear them out and place the new one directly on the plate. I've
learned my lesson!!! And, "no Matt...WE'RE NOT GOING TO JAIL!!!"
