Happy Thursday Beautiful ones! I had two poems handed to me as we broadcast from Calvary Church Tuesday that I would like to share with you! Here's the first one:
"As we enter the season to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior, we thank God for His Son and gracious blessings. Let us never forget to pray and thank those who serve and have served in our military, especially those who have given their lives in the name of freedom. May the hand of our Father be upon them and their famlies......Merry Christmas!"
The second:
It's Christmas, it's here
the birth of Christ draws near
but others only see
Santa's gifts beneath a tree
How mistaken so
How does the season go
If clouded over by
the modern Christmas lie
But lo, the Son
the pow'r of God 'tis won
defeated the human greed
to save a soul in dire need
Hail to the Trinity
God, Spirit, Son in three
A Christmas tribute to
the one God sole and true
He died for thee
to set our spirits free
hail star, follow close
to One who means the most
spread the message is my wish
the Gospel spread via The Fish
